Three levers can change the entire league.

BGL makes the customization concept easy to see. Number of Tiers, Size of Tiers and Picks Per Tier work together to determine both the ranked player pool and the size of every pick sheet.

1 · Number of Tiers

Choose how many ranked groups of golfers make up the pick sheet.

Standard example: 6 tiers

2 · Size of Tiers

Set how many ranked golfers appear in each tier.

Standard example: 20 per tier

3 · Picks Per Tier

Decide how many golfers each team selects from every tier.

Standard example: 5 per tier

Same format. Completely different league.

The app does the math as the commissioner changes the levers. The standard example creates 120 ranked golfers and 30 picks per sheet. Change the same controls to 3 tiers, 10 golfers per tier and 2 picks per tier, and the league becomes 30 ranked golfers with only 6 picks per sheet.

The roster is only the beginning.

Commissioners can also shape how points are awarded and where bonuses come from. BGL's standard table counts the Top 7 Scores at 10/6/5/4/3/2/1, but those values are adjustable. Special tournaments can use their own point boosts, and Captain Picks can add another layer of strategy.
